Have you ever wanted to know what it was like to be a “King” for a day? Or maybe a “Queen” for a night? Well your opportunity has arrived.
I would like to do a bellydance/drum jam session panel. Musicians of all types are welcome, but primarily drummers and people who play folk instruments such as woodwinds/flutes/recorders other types of percussion instuments etc...things of a more tribal nature if you will. Anyone is welcome and it would be a fun time especially for dancers and drummers! This isn't a "how to" workshop, it's just a get together to play music and jam, but is not a "filking" event, it's a "jam session."
Come learn to swing dance, or help us demonstrate, if you already know how! We'll show the basics, give some lead/follow tips, and play big band classics and more recent swingable hits. No partners necessary (come alone or bring your friends).
Although the title may suggest otherwise, this is not a speed dating, matchmaking, or in any way related to hooking up room. Rather, this room is devoted solely to the creation of music. In this room you'll find instruments, sheet music, and maybe even a lesson or two. So stop by, pickup or bring your own instrument, and play.

Enter the 3rd year of this epic competition of Rock Band rockers to compete for this years Rock Off trophy! Your band (A minimum of two rockers needed) will rock off in a 2 song display in front of a panel of judges who will be looking at costumes, skill, accuracy, and most of all just how awesome of a show you can put on.
